Comments: Magnus and The Alien are terrorizing worlds, so Space Ghost steps in. The battle rages on with plenty of exciting action. Magnus even faces the twins, Jan and Jace, who prove they are more than capable of holding their own.
After the battle, Space Ghost finds himself alone… with himself. Yes, there is an interesting conversation between Space Ghost and Dax. Here, Dax and Space Ghost are treated as two separate individuals. We also see just how much Dax loves Jan and Jace. He would do anything to protect them because he cares about them deeply.
Dax faces a choice, one that reaches into his very core. Jace delivers a heartwarming speech, while Jan gives an inspiring one. Dax’s children inspire him to become better than he ever could have been without them. Together, they make an impressive team.
The artwork emphasizes Space Ghost’s toughness. He is a true fighter. The twins may not look as intimidating, yet they are clearly shown to be fearless warriors. One muscle-bound man, two gangly children, and a monkey make for one of the most impressive teams in existence.
This issue also introduces the planet Amzot and several of its inhabitants. The story does an excellent job of building anticipation for what is to come. After reading this issue, you won’t want to miss what’s next.
This is a highly emotional issue that balances spectacular action with heartfelt character moments, making it one of the strongest chapters of the series so far.
