Comments: Tempus Time-Master is torturing Space Ghost, and Space Ghost is helpless. Fortunately, he has friends in Jan and Jace, along with a few more allies. The Space Force of the Multiverse—Space Spectre, Eclipse-Woman, Were-Jan, Thundercleese, and Zorak, charge into battle against the Time-Tyrants: the Sorceress, Barbos, and Tarko.
Space Ghost steps it up here. Tempus attacks his family, and that pushes Space Ghost too far. The battle for everything revs up into supercharged action as Space Ghost pursues Tempus into the Temporal Timestream.
As you learn more about Tempus, you will begin to feel sorry for him. He did not deserve what turned him into who he is now. He only wanted to do the right thing. He wanted to be happy and live out his life as a good man. All of that was taken from him. You may even shed a tear for Tempus. Space Ghost, for all his toughness, is a real softy, as he ultimately gives Tempus a prison sentence.
The finish here is heartbreaking. If this scene does not bring a tear to your eye and make you feel sadness, you’re heartless.
The art is powerful, and Space Ghost is shown releasing more power than he has ever before. He also demonstrates remarkable restraint, as he could change things but chooses not to. Instead, he lets events play out as the universe itself has decided.
So many great supporting characters appear within these pages as well. The sidekicks, who are far more than just sidekicks, along with the other heroes and villains, all add so much to this issue. Space Ghost may be the central character, but it is not all about him.
