The rest of Solomon’s party continues to the temple, yet as they arrive, a most horrific host awaits. Solomon’s return helps to save them. The giant serpent, though, ugh, is easily dispatched. This is not a particularly fierce battle.
Everyone, snake men, humans, and sorcerers are all after the Serpent Ring. The Serpent Ring is an instrument of evil. Those who weld it become corrupted by it here, though; it is too much for those seeking it.
The story has serpent men, sorcerers, and men of low virtue and Solomon Kane and a monstrous snake. Yet with all these, the action is a bit boring. The art looks good, yet more dynamic poses while they fight would be great to see.
The ending to this tale is pretty much what you would expect.
Solomon is a man with strong convictions about doing what is right. He does live a solitary life when not helping others. You do get a feel for that too. Solomon stands on his own.
