Comments: The hunt for the Serpent Ring continues in the African jungle. The natives attack fiercely. People die on both sides. Yet Solomon and the group push forward. A priest is with them as well, and he is more than he seems.
Evil lures in the jungle, and the natives belong to Set. Their High Prestess She-Kabet leads them. The atmosphere reeks of the evil Serpent God.
The illustration of an elephant is a gorgeous pin-up style drawing with beautiful line art, and the shading and tones all combine to create a masterpiece.
Most of the people on this treasure hunt want to Serpent Ring to grant their fondest wishes. It is filled with dark magi, so any wish it grants may be tainted. The danger to all involved is felt as they carry on.
Solomon may be hurt, yet he carries on. He will not stop no matter what.
This adventure is not just dangerous; it fills one with dread at the ancient powers involved and what they can do to a person. You are pulled into this world.
