Comments: Sansha and Blanco are two dogs living behind a fence. Sansha wants to go exploring, while Blanco is content staying where they are. Despite this, Blanco longs for freedom and feels sadness about being captive, dreaming of seeing the world beyond their yard.
Blanco is shown in her younger days roaming freely through the city, clearly enjoying that time in her life.
Now Sansha is chained and fenced in, and she is deeply unhappy with her situation.
The dogs share a friendly relationship, and it’s easy to see how close they are and how much they care for one another. Blanco seems more accepting of their circumstances, while Sansha is clearly suffering, which is sad to witness.
The art succeeds in showcasing the dogs and the other animals that appear throughout the story. Each dog is given a distinct personality, making them feel alive and relatable.
There isn’t a great deal of plot; much of the story focuses on the dogs simply spending time together. Nothing particularly exciting happens, but the dogs themselves are interesting and cute, leaving readers curious about where the story might go next.
Humans do exist in this world, but they remain mostly in the background, which works well. The focus stays firmly on the dogs, and you will likely find yourself caring deeply about the animals portrayed.
