Comments: Marty and Eli are just hanging out with their friends, talking about girls and the usual stuff. They are typical teenage boys simply living their lives. They just happen to have superpowers, too.
Dr. Atlas comes to the twins for help. His assistant, Instructor Miller, needs their help. She seems to be in real trouble and helpless, even with her new powers. The story also features a villain who is willing to give in to his opponents for the sake of someone he cares about.
Marty and Eli have a decision to make. Will they help Dr. Atlas, or will they let him suffer? They are good boys, so the answer seems obvious.
The art presents the characters as ordinary, everyday people—which works well, except for the seven-foot-tall woman with laser-beam eyes.
The story may lack a lot of action, but it builds on the characters. You learn a great deal about their situations and how they feel about the people in their lives. Even the bad guys care about each other.
Marty and Eli are two bright young boys who are simply doing what they know is right.
