Comments: A woman hunts down criminals from different worlds, and she definitely has an attitude. The action moves quickly as she launches an attack on a criminal. She is tough, skilled, and clearly experienced. The art is exciting, especially when she is shown in motion during the fight scenes.
The action ramps up even further when one police officer attacks another. The two women fight brutally, delivering intense and violent confrontations that stand out as some of the strongest moments in the comic.
The second part of the story becomes somewhat confusing. It takes place across different times and alternate Earths, which makes it harder to follow. It would help to know the main character’s name, who she works for, what their organization does, and why she chooses to do this work. There are many unanswered questions, including what happens to her after she surrenders.
The story also mentions “Arctics,” people who control the cold. This raises more questions — are there many of them, and are there others with different powers as well?
The book starts strong with plenty of fast-paced fighting action, but then it slows down considerably while offering very little explanation for the larger story.
The main character wears a unique and beautiful outfit, and her weapons, deadly knives, make her especially striking on the page. She shines as a character, but readers need to learn more about her to become fully invested in what happens to her next.
