Comments: Marian is consorting with witches, one in particular Ravenna. Marian, along with her fellow sisters and Ravenna, now stand armed and ready to fight for their freedom. They attack the Cardinal and his men, descending from the heavens above as the blood begins to flow.
Marian is fighting to free the city so her sisters the witches can live in peace.
The art is very dark. Even though the story takes place at night, it would still help to see the characters and action more clearly.
The Grandcircle is a group of three witches: the Maiden, the Crone, and the Mother. How they will factor into the story remains to be seen.
The new Pope certainly has his hands full. The city is against him, and so are the witches.
The story has the elements it needs, but they are not used strongly enough. It could use more action and stronger character development. Sister Marian is gorgeous, but that is not shown very often either.
The nuns and sisters are all armed, yet we only get one panel showing a sister actually using her weapon. The story also needed a clearer focus.
