Comments: There is a lot going on and it ties back into issue one which if you have not read you might be left wondering what is going on.
In the town, there are people with something wrong about their faces. What has happened to them? This is a mystery. So is the woman who seems to be leading them.
The art is beautifully done and gives a creepy feel to the comic. The woods and the countryside here are magical places.
Frances and Piper are sisters. They are the main characters. Each sister is with someone or something.
Who is Miss Joanna? What is she doing?
There are way too many things left unexplained. How was Francis hurt we see she has a cut on her leg. But what happened?
The relationship between Francis and her mother is one not all that clear.
The atmosphere of the overall comic is what makes this book stand out. It is creepy and will make your skin crawl.
