Comments: “Little Kingdom” A few families are living off the land. Two film makers are making a documentary on the little society. The children here are weird. There is something off about them. The film makers return to the island and are trapped there with only the children. Well this story does delivery some scary aspects as we follow the actions of the children. The ending though does not deliver. There are some mysteries here and no answers.
“Hello Charlie” This story starts out with text messages about music being exchanged. This story does build up suspense and gets you wondering what comes next. You will be waiting for it.
“Apple Head” Amber, Krystal and Samantha are having a sleep over. Krystal has ordered fruit. In her town people do not eat fresh fruit and we see a urban legend born. The teenage girls are cutely drawn. Apple Head well he is not so cute.
“Old Machines” A bot from the internet is comunicating with a man, Miles. This story has the dead trying to return by using machines. As technology progresses this keeps getting closer to becoming a reality. It is a scary thought.
“Sleepwalker” This is one weird story about two brothers and The Scatchy Man. It is so weird it is good. Good simply art accompanies the story.
“Rumble Queen” A young couple visit an art park and are enjoying themselves and the art. The park’s creator certainly has a way of dealing with anyone who crosses her. She is scary.
“Don’t Look” A young boy is stalked by a supernatural clown. Well he does find a unique solution. He proves even a human can be pushed only so far and then they push back.
“Sunken Express” A man follows an urban legend that takes him on a trip. He does sacrifice so a boy gets a chance at living his life and this leads to him losing his chance to live hislife over. Lots of unanswered questions here. The setting and atmosphere certainly deliver though.
“Gospel of the Dead Moon” Something hit the moon and caused it to pivot 180 degrees. This story starts out great and builds up suspense only it goes nowhere.
“ReBrand” A model finds herself with a bright billboard across from her apartment. The story starts out great building up suspense and then goes nowhere. There are a few beautiful women drawn here. The punch line does not deliver.
