Comments: “The Graveyard Club” A group of four teens calling themselves the Graveyard Club is having a Halloween party in a graveyard. The tteens’party replaced with a Halloween trick which is replaced with a Halloween trick that leaves all stunned. Do not mess around in a graveyard on Halloween.
“I Can’t Take You Anywhere” Three cute panels all to do with Halloween. The art is old-style and does convey the story well.
“Wee-Gee.” This story builds up the evil of a Witchboard. The new board welder takes it home, and what he does with it will certainly not be what the board and the reader are certainly not expecting.
“Johnny Pumpkin Time” A candy eating contest gets way out of hand. We also get to see the most powerful force on Earth in action. The art does make Johnny Pumpkin a little scary, ly what he takes on turns out to be a power beyond his reckoning.
“Samhain” A couple in America find out that the old ways may be old yet they are still the way. Not believing in something does not make it any less real. The art beautifully shows the reader the mythical creatures of ancient lore.
“Billy Parker Talked Too. Much” A group of kids, egged on by one kid,d g on a trick spree, and they are just being mean about it. Billy talks too much, and then he doesn’t. This is a well-told and illustrated tale of Halloween and what not to do.
