Comments: “Teacher’s Pet” In school, a teacher has a problem student, Alex. The teacher has a unique way of improving students’ attitudes. Mrs. Deacon is making an impact on her students’ lives—a frightening one that you may not expect. The art creepily presents this story.
“Be Not Afraid.” This is a creepy store about an evil son. He does like to torture others. The story leaves a lot of things unexplained. The art style is different, the details are vague. This is a sneak peek, so unless you buy the comic, you will not see how this ends.
“The Witch” A short story of a disturbing tale. It takes place in the past andd andthe era comes across nicely. It does remind one of the Salem Witch Trials.
“I Can’t Take You Anywhere.” These are weird cartoons. One panel is morbid.
“Cemetery Cove” A young man, an amateur at magic, tries his luck and ends up in Cemetery Cove. This is a weird take on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The young man comes to realize that in real life it is not as easy as in a show.
“A Time for Reflection” A woman’s mother died, and the family got together for her funeral. There is a lot of family drama. A lot is going on, ye, no actual story direction.
These stories do have a touch of horror in them, yet they need to be focused in delivery.
