Comments: “Contagious” Children are acting up in a deadly way and it is a mystery as to what is causing it. The children do have a purpose and they are carrying it out. A few reasons are suggested for what is going on. There is a steady build up of suspense it just does not go anywhere.
” I Can’t Take You Anywhere” Here you get three one panel scary scenes. Yes these are terrifying events. The artwork beautifully illusttayes them.
Tula Lotay delivers a strange pin-up page inbetween stories. It is a weird looking one that inspires fear.
“Stay In Your Lane” Old Dan is a old time bowler who was passed over for being to old and this did not sit right with him. He was a broken man one who achieve his dream and then had it taken away. He does go crazy and his end is fitting for him. He is a man who did not deserve what he got in life and he regretted it and other came to as well.
“Something is Killing the Children: A Monster Hunter Walks into a Bar, Part One” A young woman walks into a bar and orders a beer and chips. She has the most beautiful green eye. She seems like such an innocent woman. The way she acts and talks you know she is way more than she seems.
“The Siren” A siren and a lighthouse keeper have a situation between them one which the siren changes. The lighthouse keeper did not know it was possible for her to change it. Her look the way she is drawn lets you know at a glance she is evil.
“The Foster” This is a weird story about jealousy. Ben does a good thing yet for the wrong reasons. He wants fame and recognition yet he does not get what he wants. Maybe he will finally.
“The War Part One” A group od people are talking about a possible war and its ramifications. They are imagining what could happen. They are mordid in what they think will happen if war happens. Plus they are hopeful in that they think no one would start a war because of what it would cause. Than it happens.
This is a wonderful collection of various stories that will make you think and perhaps frighten you more than you think.
