Comments: Jessica Harrow’s mother died, and she attended the funeral, and a stranger gave her a mysterious envelope. This story takes place before Jessica becomes a Grim Reaper. Aw, it’s Rowe, not Jessica, who was at the funeral. Jessica is Rowen’s mother. The story really should explain things better.
So, Jessica, to protect Rowen, did not get to raise her as she wished she could have. Jessica never got the chance to be the mother she could have been.
Things do get weirder as Jessica is not really there. The two of them are getting along fine. So, as the other and daughter bond, is this the end of this series?
These two women do come across as great characters, but it would be nice to see more of them than just standing around. Plus, a lot of the story of what happened with them is skipped through way too fast.
The two women are illustrated beautifully.
This has great characters, but they needed to be used a lot better.
