Comments: Desmond is visited by a Reaper. The Grim Reaper is dressed so nicely. His attire jumps out at you. Now Desmond is a writer who is almost finished with his book. He wants to finish this last one.
Here, what a person might want to be remembered for is highlighted. The Grim Reaper does understand, as does this writer, Desmond the best things to be remembered for. That living your life is the best thing.
Ok, the second part of this issue is about an old lady talking with Nero the crow, and then the Grim Reaper Marcel shows up, still dressed impeccably. This makes no sense. Is Jess now dead? Did she get to somehow live out a human life? What is going on? The story makes no sense whatsoever.
Marcel the Grim Reaper is a well-done character. He is the only good part of this issue, and having him as its focus is great. Only one character cannot make up for all the rest.
