Comments: Geronimo and his family travel by train as he is going to do an interview when they arrive at their destination. Everyone but Geronimo gets into trouble and Geronimo just gets all the blame. He is a nice mouse and his family is fun-loving. Thea and Trap, Benjamin and Bugsy Wugsy are all there with him.
Geronimo and his family do turn a simple train ride into an adventure. A mystery does occur as Bugsy Wugsy goes missing.
As parts of the train separate, there is excitement and danger. Geronimo, Trap, and Benjamin find themselves on one wild and crazy ride. The Rodent Express starts out fairly calm and quiet with the family members having some fun and then things start to steamroll and we find out others want what Geromino has.
The art does make you think of these anamorphic creatures as people. Geronimo acts like he has it all together and really he does. The scenery looks wonderful and the train is drawn to give you the feeling you are really on one as you read this book.
Geronimo Stilton is an ace reporter and here he does get the scoop.
