Comments: Gorgeous outer space scene with a spaceship starts this comic off. It is Serenity.
The Captain Mal and his crew; Wash, Jayne, Zoe, Kaylee, River, Inara and Shepherd Bookmaking up the crew. As the story progresses you get to slowly learn about the characters.
Now they land on a moon and this moon has a weird religious belief. It is a strange place.
The art shows off the characters well enough. The story has Mal and Zoe being chased by one huge spacecraft.
There is romance and fun aboard the Serenity. The story though does move along slowly with not a lot happening. If you were a fan of the TV series than you will probably love this getting to see your favorite characters in print.
Inara has some mystery to her. The Captain runs his ship more with his crew than being in charge of them. It will be nice to see how this progresses with how it treats the crew of the Serenity and its Captain.
