Comments: The city shown is illustrated as a grand place, and its buildings within are inspiring. As you set eyes on this place, the atmosphere is going to have you in awe.
Conan, Barbarian King of Aquilonia, has a man in rags seeking an audience, and from his bearing, you know he is not just a beggar. There is something about the way he carries himself.
Conan is drawn sparring with Pallantides, his Commander and General of the Black Guard. These two do have a hard-fought sparring match, which does end showing who is the better fighter.
Zenobia, Conan’s Queen, and the castle’s servants are on edge about the strange guest. As the guest meets Conan at a banquet, he reveals he is more than just a man.
Conan is forced to relive his blood-soaked past, and he does, and he comes out still fighting. The art showing you the various creatures he has faced is going to leave you in awe. Then the strange attacks Conan, and the true battle begins. Yes, and how it ends is a story yet untold as the stranger continues his journey and Conan his adventure.
