Comments: Zula, a shape-shifter, attacks Conan relentlessly. Conan does not falter and strikes back hard. Their fight ends, and Conan continues on his journey. This journey is a test for Conan to show he is not a serpent worshipper. Yet something within Conan has the touch of the Serpent God Set. This makes one wonder how this will affect him.?
Zula performs an ancient ceremony with Conan, and you can feel it in the air, and also the snake gods. Conan must choose snake or man, which is he? Conan faces a dark demon of pure evil, and its strength is boundless. These two hardy savage warriors battle this evil, and it is a close one.
Asgulan Keras Ward is a city where we see a serpent man, and he is not too happy with a thief. This will lead to more danger for Conan in the coming issues. It is a nice short buildup of the threat coming.
In this issue, in the wild, we see Conan’s world when dark magic is involved. This is a savage, deadly sidewhere anyone could die instantly. His world is one of brooding for his lost love. This part has dragged on too long. Cona, though first and foremost shown in story and art both as a warrior, you should be leery of if you’re against him, but on your side, he will die protecting you if need be. Conan is brave beyond words.
