Comments: Several firemen are investigating the cause of a fire. Vic finds out he is in a situation where he does not want to be below ground in the sewers. He is in grave danger. What is going on here? What are the other firemen really up to?
Amy Durant is out doing some snooping around. She just wants to find her missing friend.
Now a lantern or lanterns seems to be tying things together.
Who or what is Kindling? Is he the fire demon? The art does bring out his visage well. Yet overall the art does not show detail as much as it should. Kinding is a mysterious figure yet nothing other than he likes fire is learned about him. What is his purpose?
The story needs to flow better and present itself more easily so the reader understands what is going on who the characters are and why they are here.
Amy needs to have her emotions coming out more in the art and in her interactions. She comes across as a mostly bland character as do most characters in this book.
