Comments: This collects the five issue mini series.
Book One: For Better, For Worse
Gangsters and cops are out in the city and also something much more frightening. The vampire shown is one scary creature. The art brings out this side of this blood sucker very well.
There are a lot of characters and they all live in the city but other than that most are not connected. That may change as the story goes on.
Book Two: For Richer, For Poorer
Two couples are making their way in the city and they share an apartment. They are close friends and so much in love with their mates.
The art does show off the era beautifully.
Book Three: In Sickness And In Heath
Aaron takes a job working for Marco a top gangster boss and Emily his girl is not to happy about it.
Ok this story is jumping back and forth in time. That is not made clear unless you follow the story and names of people closely.
Book Four: To Love And To Cherish
Poor Aaron and Emily Neither wanted what happened yet both suffer for it. Love hurts sometimes. Sometimes things happen beyond our control and they ruin things so much. It is so sad.
Book Five: Till Death Do Us Part
The ending to this tale is sad yet it does have a happy aspect. The moral is life is unfair.
