Comments:
“Spirit Slayers in Love” follows four beautiful souls—Josie, Veronica, Sabrina, and Betty—who form a musical group filled with love, with Archie happily managing them. Shinji insinuates his way into the band, setting up a clash between the Gods of Jealousy and the love humans share.
The characters are illustrated in a cute style that matches the tone of the story perfectly.
“Special Delivery” finds Veronica determined to win Archie’s heart for Valentine’s Day. Betty joins in as well, and Archie ends up with a little too much of a good thing.
“Love & Hisses” pits Ronny and Betty against Cheryl for Archie’s affections. Cheryl pushes hard—and then pushes too hard. Poor Cheryl.
“Queen of Hearts” shows Archie doing the right thing, at least in part, by letting Betty know she is his Valentine. He does things for Ron because he has to, but for Betty, he does them because he wants to.
“Hearts and Foulers” features poor Archie, who thinks he has finally figured out the female mind. Will he ever learn?
This book is full of love. Archie certainly receives plenty of it—and also gets into a lot of trouble, along with having some fun too.
