Comments: Here Archie and the gang are still pre-teens. We get to see Fangs the local bully picking on Jughead and Archie. Betty, Reggie, and Fang’s girlfriend are there too.
Now, something happened at the museum, which is not explained. Archie, though, does have superpowers: flight, strength, invulnerability, and an unfairness sense. Now, Archie decides with great power that he should become a superhero. So he starts out helping those in need. Mr. Justice is shown in action, and he is pure action in motion, taking on a war machine.
Reggie Mantle gets his suit and becomes a supervillain. One who can take down Mr. Justice.
This issue also has Jughead saying something you never thought he would.
Archie does step up and becomes a hero. Jughead is like his sidekick. Jughead is there to help him along the way. To offer advice.
The art style is done traditionally. The characters do grow up as the story progresses. There is a drama that is going over fast. The whole story skips ahead a little too fast. Certains are glossed over.
Mr. Justice is an inspiring hero. The personality of the original Archie is in here. Archie Andrews will always make a great hero.
