Comments: “Crab-Tactics!”
Eternity Fields is new to Riverdale, but not new to soccer. Crabhead appears in this story, and he is a fun character to add to the cast. Eternity Fields is a cool character, and she notices Reggie and how he’s willing to try anything and everything to win.
“The Real Ethel”
Ethel has a crush on Larry. The two of them are hitting it off great. A little bad luck turns into something wonderful for Ethel. It’s nice seeing things turn out well for her. She is presented as such a wonderful character.
“Footwork Frolic”
Some friendly playing around with a soccer ball leads to Jughead getting a dunking. Poor Jughead. It’s funny, though Veronica does get a little upset.
“Practice Makes Perfect!”
Reggie is good at soccer, but his ego is even bigger. If he were half as good as his ego thinks he is, he would be the greatest player ever. It’s the coach who has to deal with the effects of this attitude. Gorgeous art accompanies this story.
“Goal Oriented”
Sabrina is playing soccer, and her main opponent is Big Belinda—and yes, she is big. Here, we learn an important lesson about good sportsmanship.
This soccer-themed issue is perfect for World Cup season. Whether you’re a fan of soccer or just good old-fashioned fun, you’re sure to enjoy this fun-filled look at sports.
