Comments: Wonderland is in turmoil. It is believed that only Alice—or her daughter—can save it. Alice has stopped believing in Wonderland and its creatures. She now lives her life for her daughter, whom she loves deeply and who returns that love in full.
The Caterpillar makes his way into the real world and sets out to see Dr. Lutwidge. It is strange how he appears as both human and caterpillar, yet no one seems surprised. The art gives the Caterpillar a dreary, distrustful look, hinting that he is up to something he should not be.
Alice has a daughter, Evelyn, who is sweet, kind, and adorable. She is now a pawn in schemes far beyond her understanding.
Sweet Alice is being used as well. She does not realize it, but everyone seems to want control over her. Alice is not used much in this issue and is shown mostly spending quiet moments with her daughter.
The atmosphere is one where imagination and reality collide, with the line between them growing dangerously thin. Will Alice be forced to go back down the rabbit hole once again?
