Comments: The pin-up pages that start this book out are gorgeous illustrations of Agent 1.22.
After showing Agent 1.22 and explaining that she is a cyborg, the mission is fully explained. Agent 1.22 is checking up on Outpost 42. The sci-fi aspects are very clear here.
As Agent 1.22 flies down to the surface, things go very wrong. The illustration is a beautiful depiction of destruction.
Once in the facility, Agent 1.22 checks for a virus. Agent 1.22 is also being checked out. The art has an almost realistic look. So Agent 1.22 completes her mission and is back on her ship heading to her next mission. She is not your ordinary cyborg; she sleeps with a teddy bear.
The Agent 1.22 does explore the infected ship. There she finds herself at odds with the security. The fight is nicely illustrated.
The interaction between the ship Mnemosyne and Agent 1.22 works well as they act like a team, yet the ship is in control.
Agent 1.22 something is off with her. She is not following orders blindly. Why?
Rae is a beautiful woman and a capable one. She works for a man who comes across as self-confident. He has his own plans.
The write-ups between chapters help to keep you up to speed on what is going on. The pin-ups there are gorgeous.
Then a fight erupts between two hard-hitting women. These two go at it hard. Both are following their commands.
The art is amazing. The spaceships are well designed, and the colors are outstanding. The characters are illustrated in a digital style that brings them to life.
The girl with the robotic arm is Agent 1.22, and she has a cut, cuddly teddy bear. The black lines on her body are a nice touch. So now armed with a gun and her Teddy, Yogi. She is ready for more action.
Agent 1.22 is far more than she appears to be. It would be wonderful to see her character as she emerges more into who she truly is.
The art is wonderful. The characters are great-looking. The spaceships are out of this world. Agent 1.22 has a great look to her style.
