Comments: Ms. Durant is somehow tied into the fires being set.
A man is attacked yet this is no ordinary attack. Something within the flames of a fire has something to do with it. The set does present this scene as suspenseful as it builds up the terror of what is happening. Is it something more than it seems?
Hope’s House Headquarters here Ms. Durant is looking for Jade. Patricia LeFleu runs the Hope business. Now these characters all need to be introduced. Who are they and why are they important to this story? Aw, Ms. Durant is the Amy who can see the Fire Demon or whatever it is. The art makes it hard to tell if she is a she or he.
The story itself is a good one and presents mysteries. Just the story is not delivered in a way to keep you interested. There is no excitement. The fire being is not shown very well in this issue. The story does not progress at all.
Why is this fire being interested in Amy? Yes, we see Amy does say she is obsessed with it but we do not see this in her actions. She is said to be a fire chaser yet again we do not see it.
The small drawing of a man within fire on the last page is well drawn. Another man is shown with no explanation as to who he is. Lots of questions with no answers. Some answers are needed to hold the reader’s interest.
