Rhode Island Comic Con 2021 – Shatner, Clerks and Mandalorian headline jam packed event!

The biggest convention in the smallest state has returned in 2021 with a star studded lineup of celebrities, voice actors and comic artists that will see fans coming from all over New England to attend. First Comics News will be on hand all weekend to check out the new comics, visit artist alley, sit in on some panels and just enjoy being at a comic convention again. Look for photos, articles and podcasts throughout the weekend as we once again put on our good walking shoes and hit the convention floor!
Highlights include:
- A Kevin Smith VIP meet and greet / panel Friday night
- Cast members from the Mandalorian; Carl Weathers, Emily Swallow, Giancarlo Esposito and more will be doing a panel and signing autographs
- Seven different members of Clerks will be there all weekend with a panel and meet and greets
- Mooby’s will be up and running all weekend serving the famous burgers from the Clerks universe
- William Shatner will be having a 70th birthday celebration
- Additional reunions include Cobra Kai, the Boys, My Hero Academia, The Warriors, and Titans
- There will be a pinball room open all three days of the convention with a tournament running Saturday
- A kids convention area and so much more.

Some of the first comic books I remember buying with my own money at the local supermarket are Secret Wars #1, the Nam #1 and Batman #426 featuring the Death of Jason Todd. Yes, I did call the 900 number once. I voted for him to die because I did not think DC would actually do it. My bad.
