It’s that time again to review another exciting episode of “Time For Dimensional Robin.” This is only the second episode, but it’s already picking up steam. Robin and Marvin (now affectionately called “Marv” by Robin) spend the entire episode discussing the possibilities of traveling through the multiverse. During their conversation, Marvin discovers a universe without hot water and comes across backwards toilet paper designed so cats can’t reach it, an idea dubbed “The Cat Rule.”
Hies and Aponte once again display brilliant chemistry and charming banter. Their engaging dynamic elicits heartfelt laughs while keeping the comedy strong and grounded, ensuring the episode remains entertaining without becoming too silly. I wish “Funny or Die Presents” were still around; this series would be a perfect fit for that show. This episode also sets up future installments with ease, preparing viewers for a real multiverse adventure filled with discovery. “Time For Dimensional Robin” continues to establish itself as a sitcom that delivers comedic moments with force and precision. It reminds viewers why they love comedy and serves as a fresh alternative to “Rick and Morty,” as it is a show that offers a platform for such amazing creativity. As a side thought, let’s hope we all find a world with working water heaters and a genuine love for kung-fu movies—endless possibilities!
***“Honestly, for hot water, I’d go to a universe where Taylor Swift doesn’t exist.”- Now you have to admit, this is extremely funny. Yes, Taylor Swift may be America’s Sweetheart, but you can’t help but laugh at this show’s clever writing that feels so much like early “Simpsons” meets anything Judd Apatow worked on. I couldn’t help it; I had to make a note of this wonderful one-liner.
