With 2020 coming to an end, it is now time to…chill. To help, Overwatch has begun their annual Winter Wonderland event.  Continuing the tradition of years past, the hero shooter brings back traditional brawls along with holiday themed skins, emotes, intros, icons, and sprays. There will also a new additional brawl added this year.

Returning this year in the Arcade will be the Mei’s Snowball Offensive, Snowball Deathmatch, and Yeti Hunter (featuring Winston). New to 2020 is the Freezethaw Elimination brawl. In this new brawl teams of 6 will work to freeze their opponents. Teammates will be able to defrost their comrades, but the team who manages to freeze the entire other team wins.

New holiday skins will be available for Reinhardt, Moira, Torbjorn, Mei, and Zenyatta; along with all the skins from previous holiday events. There will also be plenty of new and returning holiday themed sprays, intros, and icons that can be won through loot boxes.

Three weekly challenges have also been added where you can win that week’s icon, spray, and skin; items are unlocked by winning 3, 6, and 9 games respectively.  Week 1 is for Elf Junkrat, week 2 is for Gingerbread Ana, and week 3 is for Frosty Roadhog.

The Overwatch Winter Wonderland event runs through January 5.
