Local Legends: Janet Hetherington and Ronn Sutton
Dominic Chenier interviews both Janet and Ronn about their careers. For Janet, he goes through her involvement with the Canadian Post Superhero Stamps, as well as Ronn’s involvement. Her winning the Aurora Award for a screenplay she wrote, her involvement with Wizard and Comics Scene, comics she and Ronn worked on, including a local comic strip, they went through several movies that she wrote and had small roles in, and some of the comics that she wrote. Among the topics that Ronn talked about was meeting and living with Bernie Wrightson, his friendship with Catherine Jeffery Jones and Michael Kaluta, working in animation, Illustration work in magazines, court room artist, his long run on Elvira, Honey West, some GNs he drew, his current work for the Edgar Rice Borrows estate drawing Carson of Venus and a new strip, being inducted into the Joe Shuster Hall of Fame, his portraits in Comic Book Creator magazine. They both spoke about what they would tell their younger selves if they could.
