April 2025 – Are your Spidey-Senses tingling? The Steve Ditko Estate and Ditkoverse announces the launch of a new Indiegogo campaign to publish a line of works by comic book creator Steve Ditko. Founder and Publisher, Mark S. Ditko is initiating a “Countdown to Ditko100,” leading to Steve Ditko’s centennial in 2027. This first historic campaign will bring fans a quartet of exciting comics: Steve Ditko’s MR. A.: The Lost Adventures #1, Steve Ditko’s STATIC #1, Steve Ditko’s FANTASTIC GIANTS #1 and Steve Ditko’s AVENGING WORLD #1. This marks a mémentos occasion for comic book enthusiasts, collectors and a wider audience new to Ditko’s pioneering artistic vision.
These rarely seen masterworks celebrate Ditko’s legacy, showcasing his unmistakable style and sometimes controversial, uncompromising creative philosophy. The campaign offers exclusive limited editions, variant covers, collector items, and wild merchandise inspired by the creative genius of Steve Ditko.
Ditkoverse also announces that ex-Marvel Comics Editor MortTodd has joined as Creative Director and Editor-in-Chief of the Ditkoverse line. Mort worked with Steve for years and collaborated with him on a variety of publications. He is overseeing the restoration, presentation and coloring of these Ditko titles. The Indiegogo campaign will fuel the goal of getting these comics in comic shops and other retailers.
