NEW MOVIE FROM Debbie Smith Daughetee

This ain’t Charlotte’s Web…

After killing her abusive ex-husband in self-defense, detective Cleo Varnell is barely holding on to her badge—or her faith in the justice system. When influential members of the community begin turning up dead—bodies pristine but hollowed from within—Cleo is drawn into a chilling pursuit of something inhuman. The killer leaves no trace… except the echo of a sultry voice and a thread of silk. At the heart of the mystery is a lounge singer whose haunting performances lure abusers—of any gender—to their deaths.

Cleo teams up with Michael Thomas Church, a retired detective from another city—a man with a violent past who was once spared by the very creature they now hunt. He believes redemption is possible, even for the worst offenders: “If you kill them, they never have the chance to change.” But Cleo has seen too many victims silenced, too many predators set free. As the bodies pile up and the song grows louder, Cleo faces a crushing dilemma: bring down the creature, or let it vanish into the night and continue its gruesome mission.

In the new feature film “A Touch of Silk”, vengeance wears red velvet and isn’t asking permission.

What is normal for her is chaos for you.
