Join the Rebel crew as they take on the epic fight against the Empire. The announcement came during the Disney/Lucasfilm publishing panel at New York Comic Con (NYCC) earlier this month. Two books will be released in 2027: D&D | Star Wars Core Rules and D&D | Star Wars: Tyro Squadron: Adventures. Set in the original trilogy, the stories and battles will be your own as beloved characters Luke and Leia fight their own battles.
This crossover falls under the D&D Universes Beyond line, alongside the previously announced World of Warcraft. D&D | Star Wars Core Rules will likely include new classes, subclasses, Jedi abilities, blasters, lightsabers, starship combat, and more, adapted for the 5th edition (5.5e) d20 system.
Additional details about D&D | Star Wars: Core Rules will be revealed later, and fans can also look forward to a star fighter encounter at Star Wars Celebration in April 2027.
Stay up to date on D&D Beyond.
