Over Twenty Artists Deliver Genre-Bending Thrills Readers Will Enjoy
Today, Print Is Not Dead—a 120-page comic anthology from writer Elijah Joseph and more than 20 artists—is now live on Kickstarter. According to Joseph, it’s more than that: “If you’re old enough to remember channel surfing, it recreates that feeling of stumbling onto
something you didn’t know you were going to love,” says Joseph. “Or, as I explain it to my brother, it’s like doomscrolling on TikTok, but actually fun.”
The book features over 20 stories, including five full-length shorts (such as a vampire protector trying to make her dad proud at prom or a troll selling his soul to create art) and more than 15 one-page comics packed with quick twists and bold style.
“Yes, this is a retro-nostalgic project,” Joseph continues. “But as I’ve talked with people, we’ve realized Print Is Not Dead is so much more than that. It’s about coming together to support independent creators and showing the world that even in a digital age, print is still very much alive.”
The anthology measures 5.5” x 8.5”, making it both portable and striking enough to earn a place on any shelf.
