Nakama Press at Anime NYC Booth #1831

New Releases, Upcoming Titles, Creator Signings, and More From Mad Cave Studios’ Global Comics Imprint

AUG. 18, 2026 (PORTLAND, OR)Nakama Press is heading to Anime NYC!

From August 20-23, the Mad Cave Studiosimprint will be at Booth #1831, bringing its growing lineup of international graphic novels to one of the biggest celebrations of Japanese pop culture on the East Coast.

Fans can stop by throughout the weekend to explore some of the newest releases from Nakama Press, including Diablomachia Vol. 1, World Enders Vol. 1, The Boyfriend Vol. 1, See You in Memories Vol. 1, Pandola Vol. 1, Last Call to Leave Earth Vol. 1, and the latest volumes of Infini-T Force and The Theory of K.O. Attendees can also get a look at what’s coming this December, too, including the recently announced Ace of the Diamond omnibus editions, CMS Astronomical Vol. 1 and Yashirojima: The Forest of Lost Dream.

Anime NYC will also give attendees a chance to get up close with two upcoming Nakama Press releases and meet the creators behind them. Mario B. Long, writer of Casshan and God Tier, will be signing at Booth #1831 on August 20, 21, and 22 from 2:00-3:00 PM and August 23 from 10:30-11:30 AM. Casshan Vol. 1, part of Mad Cave Studios’ partnership with legendary Japanese animation studio Tatsunoko Production, brings the iconic cybernetic hero to a new generation of readers. Fans at Anime NYC will be the first to get this new volume as a special early release during these signings, ahead of the retail date of September 15. Harvey Award-nominated artist Ryan Jampole, co-creator and artist of Hokis, Focus!, will also be at the booth August 21 and 22 from 4:00-5:00 PM, signing the magical middle-grade adventure packed with monsters, mishaps, and plenty of personality.
