LOOK AT ALL THE HOMAGES: G-MAN COMICS HOMAGE COVERS

With G-Man Comics coming up on their monumental achievement of 100th issues published, I’d like to congratulate the founders, Rik Offenberger, Jim Burrows, and Eric N. Bennett, along with all the writers, artists, and, of course, the fans who have helped G-Man Comics reach the 100 issues milestone.  Throughout the 100 issues, there have been plenty of epic homage covers. With Rik’s help, I’ve compiled a list of all the G-MAN Comics homage variant covers so far.
As I was writing this, I learned of the passing of the legendary Gerry Conway. His work has been part of my life for most of my life. Still amazes me that he was writing for Marvel at age 19 and created The Punisher then. I was inspired by Gerry to write stories and will forever be grateful to have met him and to have read his works. It’s fitting that the first homage cover in this article is The Amazing Spider-Man #129. RIP Gerry Conway.
“Simon N. Kirby: The Agent #3” cover by Gilbert Monsanto/ Homage to Gil Kane’s “The Amazing Spider-Man 129” (best comic cover of all time). Featuring the first appearance of the Punisher.
“Taranis The Thunderlord #3” cover by Luis Rivera/ Homage to Thor #373, whose main cover art was done by Walt Simonson, and the Marvel 25th Anniversary border designed by John Romita Sr. As a kid, I tried to collect all the Marvel 25th Anniversary border covers. I believe the hardest one to find is the Care Bears book.
