Monument Beach, MA — October 2026 — Lenovations Press has officially joined Philbo Distribution and entered comic shop distribution, with Section 12 #1 now available for retailer orders in Philviews Catalog #16. Our first retailer edition is a 48-page full-color issue with a cover price of $8.99, a Final Order Cutoff of December 1, 2026, and an in-store date of January 13, 2027.
“Getting Lenovations Press into distribution has been one of my goals for 2026,” said publisher Len Mihalovich. “We made it just under the wire. Having Section 12 be the book that gets us there makes it even better. This is the series that started everything for me, so it feels right that it is leading us into this next phase.”
Section 12 #1 is a special double-size edition featuring two complete stories, “Awakenings” and “Opening Day,” written by Mihalovich with artwork and cover by Phil Miller.
Set in 1994, an Army officer awakens to discover he is now a prisoner of Section 12, a top-secret U.S. government facility created to keep scientific failures from the public eye. The issue is also featured on the cover of Philviews Catalog #16, marking Lenovations Press’ first appearance in a Philbo Distribution catalog.
Founded in May 2014, Lenovations Press is an independent comic book publisher dedicated to creating comics across superhero, science fiction, Western, horror, and adventure genres. Its motto is simple:
Comics Done For Fun. Looking ahead, Lenovations Press plans to expand its presence in Philbo Distribution with the launch of its new Edge of Adventure anthology, featuring the adventures of RedMask Rides Again, Fantastic FanBoys Adventures, Avenger: New Blood, Wild West Adventures of Buffalo Bill and more.
Section 12 #1 is available for comic retailers to order through Philbo Distribution now.
