[Barbourville, KY] — [October 27, 2025] — Blue Moon Comics Group proudly announces that veteran comic book artist Dell Barras will illustrate an upcoming Max Miracle story, bringing his dynamic storytelling and classic artistry to one of the company’s most unique characters.
Dell Barras, known for his work with major publishers such as Marvel, DC, and Image Comics, has lent his talent to iconic titles including The Incredible Hulk, Conan the Barbarian, and Transformers. His bold linework and cinematic action sequences have made him a fan favorite across generations.
The new Max Miracle story, “My World Is Dying…And So Am I!” will appear in Blue Moon Comics’ Diversions #22 and promises to deliver an exciting, action-packed short story in the classic Bronze Age style.

Diversions #22 also features stories and art by Dana Black (“Toom, Son of Toombora), Mihajlo Petrovic (“Per Aspera Ad Astra”), and the re-release of a super-hero collaboration between Smith and Seppo Makinen (Mercury, “The Hero Rises”) in its 36 pages.
Diversions #22 featuring Dell Barras’ Max Miracle story is slated for release in November 2025 both in digital format through Blue Moon Comics’ Ko-fi shop, DriveThruComics, and GlobalComix. The magazine will be released in print sometime in early 2026.
