KICKSTART MY HEART: A FEW HOMAGE COVERS ON KS

Hello hunter and huntresses, This is a quick hunting trip to highlight some Kickstarter campaigns that have homage covers. Kickstarter homage covers can be tricky to get in your crosshairs. If you’re not following the writer or artist on their socials or someone in your hunting party post it, you’ll never have them in your sights. Here are just a few that are active campaigns in the funding stages.

Will Robson returns with “Outbreaks #4” & new story BETTER OFF DEAD. There are a lot of homage covers in the “Outbreaks” campaign and past ones available as add ons. Robson’s has homages to Steve Ditko’s “Amazing Fantasy #15”/ homage to the cover of “Batman: The Killing Joke” by Brian Bolland/ homage to both “The Amazing Spider-Man #300” and “The Amazing Spider-Man 301” by Todd Mcfarlane/ and another homage to Todd Mcfarlane in “Spiderman #1.” As of April 10^th  there are 20 days left in the campaign. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/speechcomics/outbreaks-1-4-an-ongoing-zombie-anthology-series

“UPHEAVAL #1-2” by Travis Gibb- Summit Comics has a bad ass homage to Klaus Janson’s 1987 “Punisher #1” Art by Brian Wolf, Colors by Alexandre Starling. So Pro Comics has some of my favorite homage covers in their campaigns. The comics have awesome stories as well, like “The Moth.” Check out the awesome homage to John Buscema’s Wolverine #8 by Shawn Langley and Kristy Easton. It’s available as an add on there is a virgin, chrome, neon and more variants. Sorry not sorry I grabbed the 1/1 gold. Michael K. Easton always makes the campaigns fun so don’t miss out on the Wolverine #8 homage.
