Jason Momoa, Eight ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ Stars Highlight 2019 Wizard World Portland, February 22-24

 

‘Aquaman’ Headliner Plus ‘Buffy’s’ Hannigan, Denisof, Marsters, Landau, Benz Among Celebrities Appearing At Oregon Convention Center

Alyson_Hannigan_(Gage Skidmore)-333.jpgPORTLAND, Ore., January 7, 2019Aquaman headliner Jason Momoa and eight “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” stars including Alyson Hannigan, Alexis Denisof, James Marsters, Juliet Landau and Julie Benz, an outstanding array of programming, live entertainment, cosplay contests, gaming and more highlight the seventh annual Wizard World Portland at the Oregon Convention Center, February 22-24.

Other “Buffy” stars scheduled to appear include Amber Benson, Clare Kramer and Charisma Carpenter, plus Hale Appelman (“The Magicians”), Matt Ryan (“Constantine,” “Legends of Tomorrow”) and Thomas Ian Nicholas (Rookie of the Year, American Pie). Additional celebrities will be announced closer to the event.

Some of the world’s most talented creators populate Artist Alley at Wizard World. Top writers and artists scheduled to attend are Shawn Coss (“Cyanide & Happiness”), Scott Koblish (“Deadpool”), Thomas Estrada (Disney, DreamWorks), Tom Cook (“Masters of the Universe,” “Scooby Doo”), Phil Ortiz (“The Simpsons”), Clinton Hobart (licensed Disney fine art, Apples), Jeremy Clark (“Grimm Fairy Tales,” “Day of the Dead”), Mostafa Moussa (“Superman,” “Fantastic Four”) and more.

Wizard World Portland will also feature non-stop live entertainment, gaming, exclusive Q&A sessions with top celebrities, movie screenings hosted by stars and directors and more. Wizard World events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop culture: movies, television, gaming, live entertainment, comics, sci-fi, graphic novels, toys, original art, collectibles, contests and more. The second event scheduled on the 2019 Wizard World calendar, Portland show hours are Friday, February 22, 4-9 p.m.; Saturday, February 23, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, February 24, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Kids 10 and under are admitted free with paid adult.

Wizard World Portland is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World Costume Contest on Saturday evening.
