LOS ANGELES 9/10/2026— Today Skybound and Image Comics announced a landmark tenth printing for Invincible Universe: Battle Beast #1, the issue that brought new Invincible Universe stories back to comic shops for the first time in seven years, going on to smash sales records with no sign of stopping. This new printing is certified Skybound Gold to commemorate the rare achievement of a tenth printing and will feature all-new covers by top artists in the industry.
From the unstoppable team of creator/writer Robert Kirkman (Terminal, Void Rivals), co-creator/artist Ryan Ottley (Invincible), colorist Annalisa Leoni (Cobra Commander), and letterer Rus Wooton (The Walking Dead), Invincible Universe: Battle Beast #1 10th Printing will arrive on October 7, 2026.
With 10 open-to-order covers to celebrate the historic tenth printing, Invincible Universe: Battle Beast #1 will head back to comic book shops with special gold foil editions of the issue’s original main cover by Ryan Ottley & Annalisa Leoni and a new cover by Ottley & Leoni, as well as new covers by Brett Bean, Jerome Opeña & Neeraj Menon, Cully Hamner, Nick Bradshaw & Jim Charalampidis, Tom Whalen, James Stokoe, Ben Stenbeck, and Carmine Di Giandomenico.
As fans look forward to the launch of the next story arc in 2027, now is the time to fill in any gaps in their Invincible Universe: Battle Beast collection. Subsequent printings were recently announced for six other issues, coming to comic book shops on September 30. Collect new covers by Valerio Giangiordano & Neeraj Menon, Jerry Ordway & Alex Sinclair, Ben Stenbeck, Sid Kotian & Pressy, Oliver Ono, Dillon Snook, and Jason Howard.
The biggest new series launch of 2025 that changed the face of comics will return with jaw-dropping (and smashing) new issues in 2027.

Invincible continues its winning streak, with Season 4 of the hit animated series on Prime Video becoming the most-watched season of the series to date. Season 5 is currently in production for release next year, and an early renewal for Season 6 was recently announced.
