NEW YORK, NY – As the doors open to Comic Con for the first time in two years, InterPop, the Web3 based digital entertainment company, is releasing a selection of key issues from its super-powered Emergents Uuniverse through GlobalComix in celebration of the publisher’s first-ever appearance at the industry’s premier event this week in San Diego!
InterPop has debuted its first five comic book series The Nine, Emergents Presents, #ZOEMG, The Abyss, and The Rejects on the Tezos blockchain in the last year, creating a brand new superhero universe, with all comics available digitally via their InterPop Comics readership platform at interpopcomics.com, with first issues now free to read via globalcomix.com. Now, the company will arrive on the showfloor of Comic Con International in booth #1334, where they will bring giveaways and offer fans an exclusive first look at the upcoming Open Beta of their Emergents trading Ccard Ggame, andwith the Super Booster drop announced earlier this month.
Heroes and villains alike find their home in Culverton, birthplace of the Emergents: a fire-wielding professor, guardians made of stone, practitioners of arcane arts, geniuses who bend machines to their will, and mischievous speedsters. Superpowered humans fight or commit crimes, alongside their civilian neighbors. Generations clash, unique powers are revealed, and devious plots come to light. It may look like a normal, tightly knit community, but be careful pulling on loose threads when you visit Culverton—you never know what secrets you might be unraveling.
Emergents TCG is a next-gen Trading Card Game (TCG) set in the Emergents superhero universe. It combines the deep strategy of traditional TCGs, the convenience and fast pace of digital TCGs, and the digital ownership of Web3, developed by TCG pro-players and game developers Corey Burkhart, Alan Comer, Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa, Brian David-Marshall, and Zvi Mowshowitz – Among them, three MTG Hall of Fame, multiple pro-tournament wins, and 50+ TCG games and expansions released. Fans will have the first look at the Closed Beta version of the game in the InterPop booth, with a chance of meeting the developers themselves!
