Furious Fist Of The Drunken Monkey #7
With his girlfriend, Bunny, still missing and facing a murder charge for the death of the villain Micky Fin, Chip remains in custody at the Bigg City jail. A new hotshot lawyer shows up unexpectedly and gets Chip released on a lower bond. So, naturally, he heads to Frankie’s bar for a pick-me-up, only to find himself facing a new threat: the lightning-animated evil of Frankie’s Stein.
Chip is an unmotivated and often inebriated chimpanzee. One night, he witnessed an alien spacecraft crash and removed a ring from the alien pilot’s severed arm, hoping it would be of value. Soon after, Chip found himself in battle against the mutant henchmen of the evil genius the Gene Gnome, and discovered that the ring could turn into an alien power glove that, when activated, increased his natural speed, strength, and stamina. Chip now fights crime in Bigg City, but always before 5 p.m., because that’s happy hour.
