The talented RICHARD COMELY is joining G-Man Comics for the first time!
Richard Comely is a Canadian artist, designer, video producer, lecturer, and creator of the popular comic series Captain Canuck. Comely has worked as a commercial artist and writer since his teens. He began publishing his Captain Canuck comic book series in early 1975, which has been published on and off for approximately 40 years. He has also written and illustrated children’s books, syndicated newspaper features, and greeting cards, for advertising, promotional videos, and television. He designed and manufactured the ComelyCrane; a portable, extendable jib arm. In 2012, Richard entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with Fadi Hakim to produce animation, a new Captain Canuck comic book series, merchandise, and pursue licensing ventures under Captain Canuck Incorporated. Comely is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is an active member of his community.
