LOS ANGELES 09/17/2026 — Today Skybound and Image Comics revealed interior pages and the lineup of variant covers for Blood & Thunder #18. From the creative team of writer Benito Cereno (Invincible Presents: Atom Eve), artist E.J. Su (Tech Jacket), colorist MsassyK (Gotham Academy), letterer Rus Wooton (Transformers), and co-creator Robert Kirkman (Invincible, The Walking Dead, Void Rivals), the conclusion to the latest story arc ushers the series into a new phase and arrives in comic book shops on October 14, 2026.

Blood & Thunder is a high-octane sci-fi action epic set in the far future. Earth has integrated alien species into society, but this new order has brought new kinds of laws, crimes, and dangers. The story follows bounty hunter Akeldama “Blood” Bledsoe and her talking gun, Thunder, two of the galaxy’s best at tracking down the worst criminals.
In addition to the main cover by E.J. Su and Dee Cunniffe, the lineup of variant covers for Blood & Thunder #18 also includes an open-to-order cover by Nick Roche & Josh Burcham, a 1:10 incentive variant cover by Karen S. Darboe, and a 1:25 incentive variant cover by Pete Woods.
