Spotlight: Jeph Loeb and Friends
Jeph was late, so the panel started with John Kirk interviewing Simone Bianchi and Simone Di Meo. Bianchi spoke about the Lucca Comics & Games Convention in Italy and how huge it is, he spoke about his close friendship with Jeph with him coming over to his house and staying there, both Simones spoke about how they react to “what is your real job” questions when they tell people they are an artist, Jeph came in and they talked about how they got into comics, their mentors, Jeph talked about his path from Hollywood to Comics, getting started with Challengers of the Unknown with Tim Sale, what it’s like working with the two Simone’s, working on the Fargo TV show, how Jeph approaches a story, what they 3 of them want to see in the comics industry in the next 5 years.
