The Glyph Comics Awards celebrate comics made by and for people of color each year, presented by ECBACC, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. ECBACC also presents the East Coast Black Age of Comics Convention annually, now in its 24th year. Williams Jr. across 12 stories. Letterers Mickey Clausen, John Jennings, Jeremy Marshall, Hector Negrete, Wilson Ramos Jr., Santosh Rath, David F. Walker, Phillip R. Williams Jr., and cover artist John Jennings round out the talented creative team.
Previous award-winning writers on this project include David Walker (Number 13), who has received multiple Eisner Awards (Bitter Root, Black Panther Party) and nominations (Naomi), as well as a Glyph Comics Award (Shaft). Alongside Walker is John Jennings (Kindred, The Blacker the Ink, Parable of the Sower), a two-time Eisner Award-winner, whose accolades also include a Hugo Award, Ignyte Award, Bram Stoker Award, and two Glyph Comics Awards.
