Dark Horse Comics and Mattel Announce He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Wings of Fate, A New Comic Series Launching June 10 After Film’s Global Theatrical Release

MILWAUKIE, Ore. and EL SEGUNDO, Calif., February 19, 2026 —Dark Horse Comics, Mattel, Inc. (Nasdaq: MAT), a leading global play and family entertainment company and owner of one of the most iconic brand portfolios in the world, today revealed He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Wings of Fate, a new four-issue comic series set in the film universe of Masters of the Universe. Timed to the new, live-action adventure movie Masters of the Universe from Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Studios, releasing theatrically in the U.S. on June 5, 2026, and internationally this June, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Wings of Fate #1 will be released Summer 2026.

The series is written by Tim Sheridan (Masters of the Universe: Revolution), illustrated by Will Sliney (Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren), colored by Israel Silva, and lettered by AndWorld Design.
