Hey Everyone,
I hope you all are well and thanks in advance for your time!
I’m Mark Sparacio, Comic Book Artist, Cover Painter and Writer. You may know my work from Marvel’s Heroes for Hire, D.C.’s Green Lantern, Sgt. Rock and Jonah Hex, Dynamite’s Red Sonja and Vampirella, Comics Buyer’s Guide and Overstreet’s Price Guide, just to name a bit of my work. I’m here to ask you to give a little guy a chance. Like most of you, as an artist, I am an independent, small business owner. I have partnered with American Mythology to Create, Write, Draw and Paint Covers for two On-going Monthly Comic Books: Bombshell and TommTomm and Witch Hammer.
Now before you say I’m nuts to try to do two comic books at once, I was a student of Will Eisner’s at the School of Visual Arts and I’ve created the artwork for countless ads for multi-billion dollar corporations, so I KNOW HOW to make my deadlines. In fact the first four issues for BOTH series are FINISHED and I’ve already finished the scripts and started on the art for issues 5 through 8 for both series as well. These Comics are a throwback to the Comics we loved as kids: action-packed, adventurous, exciting and fun. And the art’s not bad either! LOL!
That’s how confident I am in these books, so I am hoping you’ll have the same confidence in me and give a little guy a shot. You’ll see, as Will once told me, “not all the great comics come from large corporations”.
